How to use this PDF tool

  1. Choose a supported pdf document.
  2. Set the page range or quality options when relevant.
  3. Select Remove Unused Pages and wait for Complete.
  4. Review the statistics, then download the newly generated result.

What this tool does

Create a lean copy containing only the page ranges you mark as needed, with a clear removed-page count before download.

The page range is parsed, the selected pages are copied into a new PDF in source order, and every unselected page is omitted.

“Unused” means pages outside your Keep pages entry; the tool does not guess which content matters.

Standard, unencrypted PDFs. Enter ranges such as 1-3, 6, 9-12. At least one valid page must remain.

Tips for better results

FAQ

How does the tool decide which PDF pages are unused?

It does not guess. Pages outside the Keep pages range you provide are treated as unused and removed.

Can I keep several separate page ranges?

Yes. Use commas, for example 1-4, 8, 11-15. Duplicate page references are included once.

Does removing pages reduce PDF file size?

Usually, but shared fonts and images can limit the reduction, and rewriting may sometimes add small overhead.

Will page links still work after pages are removed?

Links to removed pages may no longer resolve correctly. Review interactive documents after processing.

Can I recover removed pages from the downloaded PDF?

No. Keep the original file; the downloaded copy contains only the selected pages.
