Convert single- or multi-page TIFF images into a PDF, with one fitted PDF page for each TIFF frame.
UTIF.js decodes TIFF frames, each frame is rendered to a canvas, and pdf-lib embeds the resulting PNG on a fitted PDF page.
Very large or unusual TIFF compression modes may exceed browser memory or decoder support.
Supported formats
Baseline and many commonly compressed TIFF files supported by UTIF.js. Multi-page TIFF is supported.

FAQ
Can I convert a multi-page TIFF into one PDF?
Yes. Each decoded TIFF frame becomes one PDF page in the original frame order.
Does TIFF transparency remain in the PDF?
Decoded transparency is carried through the intermediate PNG where the source and browser decoder provide it.
Why can a TIFF-to-PDF result be larger?
TIFF compression and PDF image encoding differ; converting frames to PNG can increase size for photographic scans.
Are CMYK TIFF files supported?
Some are decoded by UTIF.js, but unusual color profiles may render differently in the browser.
Is OCR added during TIFF conversion?
No. The PDF contains page images and does not gain a searchable text layer.
